Plan in pages, read in minutes
A daily page target makes progress visible, but your day is measured in minutes. The calculator turns pages into reading minutes using your speed and the words per page of your book, so you can fit the goal into a commute or a bedtime routine.
Setting a realistic yearly reading goal
An average book is around 300 pages. Twelve books a year is about 10 pages a day. Twenty-four is about 20, and the popular 52-book challenge is about 43 pages a day, or 45 to 60 minutes for most readers. Start with a goal you can hit on busy days.
