#Connect

  1. Open ReadingTrack in ChatGPT

Go to ReadingTrack in the ChatGPT app directory, or search for ReadingTrack in the directory at chatgpt.com/apps.

  2. Connect and sign in

Choose Connect. A ReadingTrack page opens: sign in with the provider you use for ReadingTrack and approve the permissions.

  3. Use it in a chat

#Add it as a custom connector instead

If ReadingTrack isn't in the directory for your account or region, add it yourself. This needs a ChatGPT plan that supports custom connectors.

  1. Open connector settings

In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors. If custom connectors are hidden, enable developer mode under Advanced settings.

  2. Create a connector

    Name: ReadingTrack

    MCP server URL:

    https://www.readingtrack.com/api/mcp

Authentication: OAuth, with client ID readingtrack-chatgpt and no client secret.

  3. Sign in to ReadingTrack

Approve the permissions on the ReadingTrack page that opens.

#Try it

  • “Save your explanation of compound interest to ReadingTrack.”
  • “Create a ReadingTrack reading list from the sources you just recommended.”
