Omnivore has shut down
Omnivore closed in late 2024. If you saved your export before then, ReadingTrack can import it.
#Supported file
The Omnivore export .zip, which contains one or more metadata_*.json files. Upload the zip as-is.
#Import
- Open the importer
Go to readingtrack.com/import and choose Omnivore.
- Select your export
The file is read in your browser; it's never uploaded.
- Start the import
Keep the tab open until it finishes.
#What carries over
- Links, titles and original save dates.
- Labels become topics.
- Archived items keep their status.
Omnivore highlights, notes and article content aren't imported.
Re-running the import is safe: existing items have their labels merged rather than duplicated.
